It is the purpose of Northern Inland Credit Union to give back. As we are a Member owned financial institution, our profits are invested back into the organisation and our community rather than the pockets of shareholders.

Community has always been at the heart of what we do

Our Community Sponsorship Program is an ongoing commitment to putting "people before profit" and giving back to the local community. Helping people and the community has been a primary focus of our organisation for over 50 years.

Community Sponsorship Program

Contributions have surpassed $1 million, towards not-for-profit organisations, charities, clubs and sporting events. The aim is to build enduring relationships, bring community members closer together and contribute to the overall community spirit.

It is vital for us to support grass-roots organisations and community events which may not be able to garner support. These organisations and people are the real heroes of our community and we are here to enable them to do what they do.

Support

Community organisations can apply for financial or in-kind support from Northern Inland. Through our community support program, we have helped organisations to provide daily meals to elderly community members, support local fire brigades, and not-for-profit fundraising groups such as Rotary and Lions Clubs.

Support is provided to over 30 organisations each year. Examples of causes we support include Billabong Clubhouse - helping adults with mental illness, sporting clubs, arts events and schools.
